A 4 piece band formed within the scenic and peaceful surroundings of Keighley/Bradford. We absolutely merk it until someone says otherwise.
We are currently gigging in the local areas so please come support us! Playing originals and well known covers.
KING KANANGA

King Kananga are a three piece aggressive alternative band, often taking catchy hard hitting hooks and strong choruses into their mix of Punk and Rock. Since Oct 08 KK have played stages across the UK, with acts such as The Gay Blades, Dear Superstar and Go Betty Go. They have been compared to Queens of The Stone Age and King Crimson, and take influences from a whole host of bands and artists.
King Kananga - "Three piece grungy number ?King Kananga? from Huddersfield opened the night with an awesome developed set. A raspy-voiced front-man delivered hook filled choruses and a confident performance. Edgy rhythm changes, hard hitting yet quirky riffs and driving drums gave the band a slight Queens of The Stoneage feel. A truly professional band, even a string repairing minute was filled with some drum and bass jamming"
